This website includes a small selection of images from our extensive files. All of our photographs may be licensed for editorial or commercial use. We would be happy to research your specific photo request and send a selection of images for review. Alternatively, we can post images to a private page on this site. Royalty Free vs. Rights Protected

Most of the images in our collections are available for either Royalty-Free or Rights-Protected use.

When you license a Royalty-Free photo, you pay a one-time fee for that image. You can then use the photo for different projects for an unlimited time period.

When you purchase a photo for Rights-Protected use, you license the right to use the photo for a specific use for a defined time period (which is usually one year). Should you decide to use this image for a different use, you will need an additional license.

Factors determining price and use

• image desired
• size of the image
• circulation or number of insertions
• format of use: print, electronic, video, film
• method of submission: digital, print
• exclusive, non-exclusive use
• length of time for rights
• geographic location of use
• full rights or image purchase
