Uig Sands (The Outer Hebrides, Scotland) |
| On an early walk out on the sands, I realized a huge rain cloud was almost upon me. I hurriedly retraced my steps, took one photograph, then rushed for shelter. I am amazed at the 'S' shape of my steps in the sand. I would have sworn I had walked in a straight line! |

London Overview |
| The many steps climbing St. Paul to its tip-top viewing area was worth it...London stretches forth in every direction. This view is towards the Parliament buildings up the Thames River. |

| Rutland Water, huge and manmade, is heavily used for recreation. At this point it surrounds the old Normanton Church and provides a lovely image. |

Egg on Sill (Scotland) |
| In a forest along the River Spey early in the morning, I came upon this egg perfectly balanced on a sill. The image has so many of my favorite photographic ingredients, and amazing found image. |

Man Dressing, England |
| In 1986, on my first visit to England, I photographed this in the back garden of Blenheim Palance. It became an important print in my exhibition Romancing the Stone and has been shown several times since with black/white images of sculpture in its environment. |
