Puye-Ancient Pueblo |
| On top of a high mountain near Santa Fe, New Mexico, is this Santo Domingo Pueblo's ancient pueblo home. Sacred ceremonies are held here yearly by the pueblo, and thousands of visitors come to the site to find ancient history, mystery and feel the mystical spirits. Just over the side of the mountain are even older caves, used by the pre-pueblo cave dwellers. |

Mission Cat (Sante Fe, New Mexico) |
| I took this image in 1984 on my way up the old 'mission road' from Santa Fe to Taos. It was my entry into a national photographic exhibition, and won 'best of show.' It is important as an early example of my interest in photographing architectural detaiil. Having the cat arch its way into the photo was a definite plus. |

Liz on Sand, Monahans Sand Dunes, Texas |
| In 1981, I photographed Liz on the sand dunes on the way to Big Bend National Park. This was the photograph she chose to give to her significant other, and it was fun to shoot at night. There was a full moon above which provided a lot of natural light. |
