Goatherds |
| The country folk of Bulgaria carry on their lives as they have for centuries. Now that Bulgaria is in control of its own destiny, many are looking to the West and unsure of their future. These goatherds are amused that a woman from Texas is interested in them. |

Bulls, Mesquite Rodeo, Dallas (TX) |
| This image was, perhaps, my signature print from the Rodeo body of work, and was used by the rodeo for two years as their newspaper ad. |

Louisiana Lizard |
| In one of the lovely old plantation mansions of Southern Louisiana, I found this special resident, very unconcerned with all of us tourists. |

Israel Cats, Jerusalum |
| In 1984, I joined a 'mission group' to Israel, and it was an ultimate travel experience. I walked at the back of our small group so that I could stop and photograph along the way. Thank goodness I turned to look back at the two cats I had just passed by; they intertwined their tails at just the right moment! |

Broncs, Mesquite Rodeo, Dallas (TX) |
| In 1990, I was a part of a group show in Dallas, "Hot Time in the City" and the Rodeo photographs were a large part of this. For the next eight years, I photographed 'backstage' shots of this big time rodeo, and exhibited the work in Dallas, New York city, Boston, New Orleans, and Lubbock, TX. |

Connemara Ponies, Ireland |
| When on my first visit to Ireland in 1989, I was determined to find and photograph these beautiful ponies of Spanish/Arabic bloodline which were swept on shore in Connemara during historic shipwrecks on the Irish Sea. One morning while hiking the inland fields I discovered a small band of them on high land with the Irish Sea as a back drop. |

Mission Cat (Sante Fe, New Mexico) |
| I took this image in 1984 on my way up the old 'mission road' from Santa Fe to Taos. It was my entry into a national photographic exhibition, and won 'best of show.' It is important as an early example of my interest in photographing architectural detaiil. Having the cat arch its way into the photo was a definite plus. |

Moving the Sheep-1 |
| On an early fall morning on a high road in the Crete Senese, I came upon this sight. There were no humans around, just the dogs to move the sheep to a new pasture. |
